How does the subscription service differ from the other two types of service?
Like donors using the Private Client Service, subscribers will create a Personal Philanthropy Mission Statement, will complete a giving profile and will have access to all CharityMatch proprietary data. However, Private Clients work with and through a Personal Advisor while Subscription Clients work independently. In addition, the Personal Advisor working with each Private Client will conduct thorough research on projects and causes while Subscribers will have online access to our Premium Research but will conduct that analysis themselves.
As a Subscriber, your profile and charity matches will be stored on the system for your ongoing use and if you elect to input your giving history, you'll also have access to a suite of reports that will give you, in graphic form, a snapshot of your giving. Again, in the case of Private Clients, all of this will be managed and conducted on their behalf by their Personal Advisor.
On the other hand, Preferred Service Clients will not have their unique information stored (it is for one-time use only) and the charity information they'll have access to will be less robust than what Subscribers and Private Clients will have available to them.

How does the free trial work?
Simply sign up for the service and check the "free trial" as your payment option. We'll send you an e-mail at the end of the 30 day trial, soliciting your feedback and offering you the opportunity to sign up as a subscriber on an ongoing basis. If you choose not to continue, simply check the box indicating you wish to discontinue service.

Do the nonprofits pay you a commission for referrals?
Never! Nothing is paid to us by the nonprofit nor do our fees vary based on the amount of the gift.
